A. Spaces

• Files/Formats

  • BF release 5.7.1 - last PRs opened. Release tomorrow.

  • 5.7.1 will be in OMERO 5.4.0

  • Improves handling of large XML in ome.tiff

  • Readers and deps changes need reviewing, especially wrt OMERO

    (don’t want to change memoization after 5.4.0 release)

• Metadata

  • Getting lots of different file formats

  • Prod 43 blockers fixed

    • Need to setup caches before going live

  • Tackle various new formats SPIM etc for 44.

    • Mass Spec “Metaspace” images. Using their api to read images

    • FLIM-FRET data coming… “IJ doesn’t read these correctly.”

    • BDV format .hdf5 and .xml files. Not versioned, no spec.

    • JM: Don’t display ‘modulo’ images in web yet.

  • Balaji: working on integration tests for notebooks

    • Some tests are data-dependant

    • Commits soon.

  • Simon: splitting the jupyter installation for independent

    maintenance.

• OMERO 5.4.0

  • 5.3.5 to be released before 5.4.0

  • E-mail to announce date soon

  • 5.4.0 upgrade tested on clone of nightshade. Went well.

  • Ice 3.6.4 - ci etc needs updating.

  • No more feature PRs. Bug-fixes only.
