  • IDR (Seb)

    • Welcome to our new IDR curator. Frances Wong.

      • Background in biology and genetics. Worked on atlas

        projects before.

    • New version 0.5.1 released last week with 1 new study and 1

      updated study

    • Issues with EBI Embassy Cloud affecting the production IDR

      resolved

    • Starting work on IDR 0.5.2: new datasets (e.g. HPA) +

      consumption of OMERO 5.4.8 features

  • Bio-Formats

    • 5.9.2 publically released yesterday incl. community

      contributions

    • Next: primarily focusing on next generation formats (KLB,

      Pyramidal OME-TIFF) and support for IDR datasets

    • Possible blog post to describe current focus

  • OMERO (Josh)

    • 5.4.8-rc1 built and deployed on pub-omero

    • Working on scenario & testing spreadsheet

    • Initial testing of BF fixes (5.9.1, 5.9.2) looks fine in

      OMERO

    • Test 5.4.7 vv 5.4.8, thumbnails etc.

    • 5.4.9 board created.

  • Outreach

    • Basel training

    • IMC19 - Petr away for 2 weeks from Saturday

    • Global bioimaging workshop in Sydney

  • Mail

    • Google Apps - Gmail switch/integration testing

      • Postfix “aliases” equivalent tested for inclusion of

        external addresses (via admin groups) e.g. omero-team etc.

    • Mailman3 test server deployed

      • Needs further config and setup

    • Josh: biggest question is how much more time.

  • Kevin started on team mid May. Based in Idaho

  • Presented scc/validation last week. No movement there yet.

  • Also no PFF data, but call on Thursday with the data generators.
