    • Tagged and JARs available available via Artifactory

    • Includes downsampling code, performance improvements for

      writing

  • Mark: OMERO.downloader: Minor bug-fixes and Petr’s testing over

    recent days. What more needs doing before v0.1.0 tag on public branch?

    • Looking into CI testing

  • Iviewer 0.6.0 out

  • OMERO 5.4.10:

    • Originally aimed to release in time for next training

      session, now delayed due to CI problems

    • Renamed as internal milestone. No impact except for outreach

  • rGateway to follow (prep for Cambridge training)

    • New release

    • Idr0021 re-analysed again in R

  • Working on “apps” in notebook for training and ITR

    • Orbit for segmentation and machine learning

    • External services have changed their URLs so some ITR links

      need updating

  • Demo web slowdown due to too many users/groups

    • Temporary workaround: split existing and new users into

      separate groups

  • All openmicroscopy PRs opened and merged

  • No more OMERO work planned this year, working on microservices

    instead

  • Basel report: omero.lifesci+downloader & curation

    • Groups very motivated to implement their data management

      plan with OMERO

    • Setting up a new public OMERO with ability to download data,

      will require curation.

    • Potential for a curators discussion group

• OMERO 5.5 plan

  • PyPI Packages dropping support for Python 2.6. Has been going on

    for weeks but accelerating over the next weeks. Burden of pinning everything becomes too large.

    • Plan is to get in touch with the community early

  • Dropping Python 2.6, Java 7, Ice 3.5

    • MATLAB 2017b as minimum recommended (JDK8)

      • Features? Mostly performance/indexing changes.

  • Do we have usage stats for CentOS 6? Anecdotally not many

    servers.
