    • Idr0043 : HPA run 03 finished.

    • Idr0050: images imported. Going through annotation process

      on prod63.

  • Bio-Formats 6.0.0

    • Worked on last few blockers (S3 & Fiji)

    • Moving towards first release candidate (Thursday)

    • OME-TIFF sub-resolutions samples

    • hoping for one week between RC and GA

    • any final blockers, bring up at tomorrow’s formats meeting

  • Sanger running into keepalive issues with long imports.

  • Build.

    • Build with Ice 3.6 working (excluding search see below)

    • Indexer thread still not working with Hibernate 3.6.

      • Same “Sealed WorkQueue” exception that defeated us back

        in 2015.

      • Cannot downgrade: Spring 4 needs Hibernate 3.6 which is

        not supported before Search 3.4. Have to face newer versions someday: Hibernate 5 and Spring 5 have been around for a while.

      • Mark: Barring better ideas, may resort to reimplementing

        how Spring and Quartz trigger indexing: instead creating a Job instance per run, passing service beans to it, perhaps assisted by HibernateTransactionManager.

    • Ice 3.7 not working (probably not supported in first

      iteration)

      • Ice upgrade not blocker for first round. But was part of

        the upgrade work.

        • Could be useful on its own even though better with

  • Micro-services: moved backbone to organization repositories.

    Keeping current Ice based micro-services 0.4.x. Still need to decide versioning (0.5 or 1.0) for new style in-memory services.

  • Will in Brisbane seminar (Mar 9): might be poster or talk. Will

    need to re-use IDR resources.

  • Important to get user meeting dates out promptly.
