Project Status

- IDR
- Tested idr0173 with omero-zarr-pixel-buffer-0.6.0-rc1, with images both mounted via goofys vs directly s3. Worked well, s3 felt slightly faster.
- Validating idr0168 annotations (OME-Zarr data). Planning to include in next release
- BioFile Finder testing getting closer to releasable. Also plan to incude in next release.
- OMERO
- Seb: Handling /tmp partition mounted as noexec. Update docs and tools to be compatible with this. This will be converted into separate issues soon. Comments/questions on the issue please.
- Andreas: OMERO.web Django 5.2 support
- Need to update places where we store datetime objects to the session: no longer allowd
- Some apps will need to be updated if they pin Django version
- Bio-Formats (Melissa)
- Working through fixes for next release. Nearly all done, but no date set yet
- NGFF
- Will: 2 examples of RFC5 (v 0.6dev2) uploaded to ebi buckets and viewable in validator: https://github.com/ome/ome-ngff-validator/pull/48.
- Viewable in napari with https://github.com/will-moore/napari-ome-zarr/pull/2 - NB: this is on top of PR that drops ome-zarr-py.
- RFC5: response to reviewers https://github.com/ome/ngff/pull/350 includes updated spec index.html. Johannes hopes to merge before Zurich hackathon (11-14th March) and port spec changes to ngff-spec.
- Preparation of Hackathon in Zurich is on-going. There a series of calls happening (Java is 22/10)
